TELL ME ABOUT TOMORROW

As Fentanyl makes headlines killing youth all around the world, the Noriega family grapples with the death of their son, and makes new ground preserving his legacy.

Film Synopsis:

On June 9th of 2022, Cooper Noriega tragically lost his life, after being poisoned by a pressed fentanyl pill, sold to him as a Xanax pill. At the time he was living in LA, modeling and had a fanbase of millions of followers on TikTok. His death sent shock waves through the community and was immediately reported on by TMZ, news outlets, and podcasts alike with some variation of the same headline: “TikTok Star dies of accidental drug overdose”, but is that actually accurate to what happened?

The Noriega’s, like many other families now caught in this unfortunate situation, have had to ask themselves this exact question. When a highly addictive, highly lethal synthetic opioid, is being cut into and even disguised as being other less lethal drugs, is their death really “An Accidental Drug Overdose” or something more sinister?

This film aims to examine Cooper’s story, while attacking the question of the day, what is fentanyl and how do we combat it? As told by his family, his closest friends, as well as subject experts on Addiction, Fentanyl, grief and loss.
